Paris St-Germain's Lead Slips as Brest Earns Draw with Late Goals

Paris St-Germain, the current leaders of Ligue 1, were unable to maintain their two-goal lead against Brest, resulting in a 2-2 draw. Goals from Marco Asensio and Randal Kolo Muani seemed to secure PSG's sixth consecutive win in all competitions. However, Brest fought back with a deflected goal from Mahdi Camara and a clever flick from Mathias Pereira Lage, earning them a well-deserved point. The frustration for PSG was further compounded by forward Bradley Barcola receiving a red card for two late bookings. Despite the draw, PSG remains six points clear at the top of the table. Nice, who won 1-0 against Metz, currently sit in second place, with Brest in third, three points behind Nice.
